Based on demand from our existing Yachtshare Owners, we have put together an amazing syndicate opportunity with a stunning Leopard 48 Catamaran. “Sensation” is a 2017 Owners Version of the popular Leopard 48 from Leopard Catamarans. The syndicate is setup with a unique 1/5 or 20% share structure offering owners more time on the water, more weekends and adventures further afield as the Whitsundays and South Pacific.
Catamarans are increasingly popular and the Leopard range of sailing catamarans is a favourite in the boating community.
Sensation is a beautifully appointed three-cabin owners version built in 2017. She features an ensuite for each guest cabin and the owners suite takes up the entire starboard hull. Additional berths are available in the forepeak and a there is a convertible saloon table for larger groups.
Unique to the Leopard 48 is the forward cockpit that can be accessed through the saloon and provides easy access to the bow. A massive galley and saloon is perfect for entertaining family and friends. Another seating and dining area is aft that easily hosts more than a dozen crew.
Sensation is powered by two Yanmar 57HP inboard diesel and comfortably cruises at 8-9 knots under motor. She has a Highfield tender for going ashore on davits with an electric winch. The saloon and cabins are fully airconditioned and a Northern Lights genset ensures plenty of power the major appliances.
Sailing is easy on the Leopard 48 with all sheets and lines returning the raised helm. Dual electric Lewmar winches make sail handling effortless and Raymarine chartplotter and navigation with autopilot make for stress-free cruising.
Sensation has recently returned from a trip to the Whitsundays and will return the Great Barrier Reef for another adventure in 2021. Trips further afield such as Lord Howe Island, New Calendonia and Fiji are on the table.
Sensation is available for inspection by appointment at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
